The Royal library holds a collection that contains material dating back to the earliest revues; notes, audio, newspaper clips, advertisements, etc. The revues were the mirror of Denmark's history, and until the radio was born, they were of utmost importance in the popular hits of Denmark. Revues are cultural heritage and the people’s souls.

Large portions of the material were not digitized, so in 2018 it is almost unlikely to be publicly available. This concert makes the Danish revue history come to life with James Price, who, as an emcee and host, will lead the orchestra of the Circus Revue orchestra and soloists Henrik Lykkegaard and Pernille Schrøder through this historical tour through the greatest revue hits. You can hear songs made immortal by Liva Weel, Dirch Passer, Osvald Helmuth and others.
